Order Processing

Each order is hand-prepared with care in our Philadelphia atelier within 1-2 business days. Please note this excludes weekends and holidays.

Shipping Methods

We offer two shipping options to suit your needs:

  • Standard Shipping ($12.95) via DHL or FedEx – Delivery within 10-15 business days after dispatch
  • Free Shipping via EMS (for orders over $50) – Delivery within 15-25 business days after dispatch

Global Note: We ship worldwide except to certain Asian countries and remote regions. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your order leaves our atelier.

Our Bohemian Returns Promise

We want every piece from our collections to bring you joy. If an item doesn’t meet your expectations, our returns process is designed to be as effortless as slipping into one of our flowing dresses.

Return Policy Details

  • Returns accepted within 15 days of delivery
  • Items must be in original condition with all tags attached
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error

Non-Returnable Items

To preserve the integrity of these special collections, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Items from “Ulla’s Closet” (pre-loved designer pieces)
  • “Vacation Edit” collection (limited seasonal items)
  • Ulla Johnson x Cabana Home Décor collaborations
  • Final sale items (clearly marked at purchase)
  • Items without original tags or showing signs of wear

The Artisanal Returns Process

Step 1: Initiate Your Return

Within 15 days of receiving your order, please email our Customer Care team at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

Step 2: Prepare Your Package

Once your return is approved:

  • Repackage items in their original packaging with all tags attached
  • Include the original packing slip or a copy of your email confirmation
  • Securely seal the package

Step 3: Ship Your Return

We’ll provide a prepaid return label for US returns. International customers will receive instructions for the most cost-effective return method.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refund Timing: 5-7 business days after we process your return
  • Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)

Note: Your bank may take an additional 3-5 business days to post the refund to your account.

Exchanges

For exchanges:

  • Follow the same return process above
  • Specify your desired exchange item in your email
  • We’ll ship your new item once we process your return
  • Price differences will be charged/refunded as needed

Global Consideration: Due to international shipping restrictions, we cannot process exchanges between different product categories (e.g., exchanging a dress for jewelry). In these cases, we recommend returning for a refund and placing a new order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a free return and expedite your replacement or refund.
